Introduction:

In the words of Swami Vivekananda, “There is no chance of the welfare of the world unless the condition of women is improved. A bird can't fly on one wing”

A nation can't go forward if its women are not educated and empowered. We live in the age of modernization still there are so many places where women are deprived to get an education. From Hebrew Bible and Greek Philosophy to the Present the female tends to be defined by negative reference to the male as the human norm. In a Patriarchal Society, a woman cannot raise their voice, they just compromise.

The Problems That Women Face In Society:

Women face so many problems in these Patriarchal societies are not Socially, Politically, and Economically strong. Women are the victims of gender discrimination though our Constitution does not allow it. But everywhere like school, college, bus, office even at their home they are the victim of torture in the male dominant society. Even today a girl child is not welcomed by the family as result sometimes a girl child is killed in their mother's womb before born. In some family girl's child is not takes care of like her brother.

From the beginning of their life society impose so many restrictions on them. Women are the victim of rape, domestic violence, abuse, even teasing everywhere. There are so many women who every day are tortured by their husbands as well another person of the society. They have to depend on others for living their life. They are afraid to go against society so they cannot protest against the crime on them. They compromised with it and sometimes commit suicide. And the male dominant society becomes more and more aggressive.

In every section of the society like any platform, In Parliament, the percentage of women is low though the seats are reserved for them. According to the Census of 2011 the percentage of women less than the men (940 females per 1000 males).

Need of Women Empowerment:

To empower women does not mean giving them the power to dominate others but women empowerment is a process in which women gain a greater share of control over resources like material, knowledge, information, ideas, and financial resources over home, community, society, and nation.

To achieve this women must be educated first and then they can fight for social justice. Education makes them self-dependent, Self-reliant, self-confident. The literacy rate of females is 65.5 percent and the literacy rate of males is 82.1 percent

In Indian society, women are considered as a goddess but not treated like that. Women have a very crucial role in society. She takes part actively in every sector. They take care of the family as well as society. In today’s society women are showing their talent in every field. Women reached the land of the moon. They can do their job timely and efficient manner. In some Research on Women says that the country that has women's government develop more than males and the company that has female employees earn more.

An educated woman can help her family by earning and improve the condition of the family. In our country, the Pre matured mortality rate of women is higher. As they are not well educated, lack nutrition found in their body because of not health conscious. An educated woman can control the population. They can give a better future to their next generation. Women have much soft heart and patience and capable of thinking than men.

The government has taken many steps to empower the women like Beti Bachao Beti Padao, Kanyashee, Self Help Group for women, Scholarship for the girls. As the girls become the victim of some heinous crime of male dominant society. The government has made so many acts to stop the crime against women. But when comes the time of implementation it cannot see. So, the government has to strict with this and found a way of stopping the crime against women. Today women are getting educated but still, there are some problems in society for that some women cannot get an education. Government has to help those women. Many girls stop going to school half of the way for poverty and sometimes they get married. To get rid of this government has to make some educational awareness programs on the importance of gender equality and women empowerment to strengthen the women.

Conclusion:

Women play an important role in making a nation progressive and guide it towards development. If the women get the opportunity to show their talent then we will be able to see a better society. The education of women is the most powerful tool to change the position of society.
